I really dig the reviews, opinions, and tips about the folk music and music in general you have on your blog. Great post, keep up the good work. Thanks. IStillGotMyGuitar

Damn, Simon, I don't see any guitar stuff on John's blog. Could you be spamming us? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and won't put on my moderator hat and delete you. Next time, post on a guitar thread if you're talking about guitars.

John, I suppose "Waltzing" was an obvious choice for a closing song, but having it sung by a chorus was brilliant. Your blog was like a perfect concert that I wish would go on forever. The final song brought tears to my eyes.

I couldn't find The Glass on the Bar in your blog, John; just recorded it myself today as part of my 2012 New Years Fiddlesangs Resolve to learn a bunch of new songs & overhaul some auld yins for sessions, singarounds and (of course) Soundcloud...

As requested by a number of visitors, CDs of the majority of the songs from the blog are now available, either as a two-disc MP3 set containing 287 songs, or as month-by-month audio CDs.

The two-disc set is A$50 including postage to anywhere, the individual month CDs are $10 each and likewise include postage.

Tracklists for the MP3 CDs are available here: Link

Thanks to everyone who's offered encouragement and support during this project.
