Maybe a couple of some ones if rider and gear space is an issue? Maybe some folks could help on the trip down and some one or several folks else on the trip back? Is a car rental an option? |

Maybe one day we'll make it too, but we have so much family scattered all over the globe now that we have to save the money to visit them! My consolation is that the weather here in the UK has been absolutely brilliant for the last week - an indian summer to make up for the summer we didn't have when we should have had it. According to the forecasts, it's due to go back to normal (for here) tomorrow, with the usual cool cloudy days with rain, and even hail predicted for Thursday. |

Just got a call from Bradfordian confirming that he is coming into Portland, Maine, on the Downeaster, not via U. S. Air. That does make a difference in terms of where I wait for him.
