He didn't duck and weave as well as step ladder can, all the same. In the la la land of FIFA, anything can happen. Best not laugh. |

Subject: RE: BS: Maradonna for FIFA president? From: Mr Red Date: 01 Jul 15 - 03:48 PM You have to know a bit about Soccer, which I never admit to. And a bit about how Argentina beat England in the World Cup of - OH do I really care when? I prefer to make people laugh (make that smile). Madonna for a FIFA precedent? (sic) - "Don't cry for me Argentina" - no la la chorus there. |

Subject: RE: BS: Maradonna for FIFA president? From: Dave Hanson Date: 01 Jul 15 - 03:55 PM Entirely appropriate to have a known cheat as president of a known corrupt organisation. Dave H |

Subject: RE: BS: Maradonna for FIFA president? From: Steve Shaw Date: 01 Jul 15 - 06:14 PM I suppose the the thread's getting a bit old for me to be pointing out that it's "Maradona". |
Subject: RE: BS: Maradonna for FIFA president? From: GUEST,HiLo Date: 01 Jul 15 - 07:50 PM So Steve, with wich hand are you pointing it out ? The atheist hand, or the hand of God ? Just checking ! |
Subject: RE: BS: Maradonna for FIFA president? From: Steve Shaw Date: 01 Jul 15 - 07:54 PM The hand of Shankly. Musket would say the hand of Clapton. But seriously, the hand of an incredibly and sublimely talented cheat. I let him off decades ago. |

Subject: RE: BS: Maradonna for FIFA president? From: Richard Bridge Date: 02 Jul 15 - 03:11 AM What Dave Hanson said. Maradona appears to have the integrity essential for the job. |
Subject: RE: BS: Maradonna for FIFA president? From: GUEST,The hand of Musket Date: 02 Jul 15 - 03:40 AM Yeah. One N. I thought it looked odd when he posted it but missed my chance to be smug and superior. Bugger. Like Steve, I reckon you can't, try as you might, get away from what a huge talent the bloke was on the pitch. If it wasn't for the hand of God goal, we'd still be talking about his other goal... Still. FIFA seems a natural place for him to get comfy in. Not too comfy though because I respect his talent whereas FIFA merely means a bunch of crooks who steal money designated for bringing joy to kids in poor countries and fawning over corrupt presidents of shit countries who indulge in back scratching corruption with them. Hanging is too good for them. They have brought my beautiful game into disrepute and to be frank, FIFA needs disbanding and starting again once the present leadership are all in the prisons that await them and Russia and Qatar are staring at half built stadiums and half baked plans to gain international respect. |
