Hi Steve

I watched Liverpool on TV last night.
Begrudgingly (as a Man U SUPPORTER) I found it a great game to watch.
They played with pace,skill and intensity that took Borussia by surprise.
Like many others I thought they had lost it when Borussia made it 3-1.
It looked all over bar the shouting. What a great comeback.Great game.

It reminded me of that great fight back to win the Euro Champions Cup in Turkey. That night we were in Spain and were watching the game in a bar and it looked all over so we went and sat outside. We were friendly with some Portuguese fans and when they came out and told us that Liverpool won we thought they were joking , knowing we were Man U fans.

Went to school in Bolton, Will. There was damn good chippy just opposite Burnden Park, ideal when waiting to get the last 52 back to Radcliffe after a pint or eight in the Trotters. If you don't follow football at all these days, don't even think of checking how the Wanderers are doing this season. You'll only go upsetting yourself.

I watched the FA Cup replay the other night. Seen better matches at Close Park of a Sunday morning, Mike. I admit that Man U were a bit better in the second half, but they're singularly unimpressive under this gaffer. And the last gaffer...
