Subject: Lyr Add: ALOUETTSKI (parody of Alouette)
From: Bob Landry

A contribution - I didn't see this in the database. Anyone who spent time as a Boy Scout or Scout Leader in Northern Alberta's Elk Island District will recognize the following tune. For others with access to a Scout Shop in Canada, they sell a tape of campfire songs which includes this version. Unfortunately, I only have the words, not the music, but I do know that it is sung with a lot of minor chords with a Cossack, rather than a French Canadian flavour. ...... enjoy

ALOUETTSKI

(Chorus):

Alouettski, gentille Alouettski.

Alouettski, je te plumerai, Hey!

Je te plumerai la tettski. (Je te plumerai la tettski.)

Et la tettski (Et la tettski)

Alouettski (Alouettski) Ohhhhhhhhhh

(Chorus):

Je te plumerai les yeuxavitch. (Je te plumerai les yeuxavitch.)

Et les yeuxavitch (Et les yeuxavitch)

Et la tettski (Et la tettski)

Alouettski (Alouettski) Ohhhhhhhhhh

(Chorus):

Je te plumerai le nezakoff. (Je te plumerai le nezakoff.)

Et le nezakoff. (Et le nezakoff) etc......

(Chorus):

Je te plumerai la bouchka. (Je te plumerai la bouchka.)

Et la bouchka (Et la bouchka) etc......

(Chorus):

Je te plumerai les knees-a-knock-a-vitch. (Je te plumerai les knees-a-knock-a-vitch.)

Et les knees-a-knock-a-vitch. (Et les knees-a-knock-a-vitch) etc...........

(Chorus):

Subject: Lyr Add: AL O. WETTA (parody of Alouette)
From: Peter Timmerman
Date: 29 May 97 - 02:42 PM

You reminded me that I remember another parody, which was I think designed to be an English translation. God knows where it came from:

AL O. WETTA

Al O. Wetta

John T. Al O. Wetta

Al O. Wetta

Just a plumber, eh?

Just a plumber eh la tap

Just a plumber eh la tap (etc.)

2) Just a plumber eh la sink

3) Just a plumber eh la bowl

4) Just a plumber eh la trap

5) Just a plumber eh la plunge

6) Just a plumber eh la leak

7) Just a plumber eh la flood

8) All-a-wetta, everything all-wetta, All-a-wetta, just a plumber, eh!!

To really get the good of it, you needed the sounds of flushing and gurgling at various points. Yours, Peter

Hey, isn't this the song Pepe Le Peu (the skunk) in Loony Tunes sings?
