Hi, folks,

A Mudcatter recently remarked that, since I knew where she lived, I could put her on the locator page of my site. Just for the record, I will not put anyone on any of my pages without you contacting me w/ the information. I would consider that an invasion of your privacy. If you want to be on the birthday, email, locator, photo, or profile pages, you need to contact me at [e-mail]. Michael K. I thought you probably had it removed because all the women here were turning into blobs of jelly. Guess they don't know that the photo is 38 years old and that you've been on a repirator since you turned 70.

Been here a good long while, as a Lurker, and here is a thought:
bbc, just don't get so up tight about so many things.....your pages, your policies, your gigs, your "Korean-ness", your Christianity, your Anti-BS ness, just take a major chill pill, girl, we all love you and what you do for the Mudcat. Grow up a little and realize it. Your pages are MARVELOUS, and contribute a lot; all of us realize that, and appreciate the time it takes, so just try to maintain on the retentive stuff. OK, hon?

This is an affectionate invitation to join Mudcat as a member so that you can exchange messages that personal with members in the Personal Messages page that comes with membership... which would be where a message of this sort might be heard with the open heart such a message should meet. (You can still lurk even as a member!)

I say this NOT to speak for bbc who is wonderful enough to speak for herself, but as one who has received and heeded a few messages not so different from this one, myself, and who appreciated them being delivered personally. (It made them a lot easier to heed.)

No Hyp, I'm afraid I must now qualify as the least photogenic Mudcatter. The picture posted recently by the charming, ebullient Bbc proves it in spades. It would appear that I was giving her a warm affectionate hug, but in reality....she was holding me up! I'm afraid those long nights of music revelry have taken a grim toll. Those bags under my eyes....the world-weary expression.... ahhh, it makes me want to burst into "When I was 17, it was a very good year..." Shouldn't be long before I add "September song" to the repertoire. 'Course, I could probably reverse the whole process by just not trying to read the entire Patons' library during every visit. These days I need more than a half hour's sleep every night!
