Is today Stan Rogers' deathday?

Hi. When I wrote down the date this morning it seemed to me that June 14 is the anniversary of something, but I couldn't remember what.

Later I put on some Stan and it occurred to me that maybe this was the anniversary of his death.

Can anyone confirm this, or set me straight?

Stan died on June 2nd, 1983.

June 14 is Flag Day in the USA. It's also the day to celebrate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday this year (it's reckoned on a lunar calendar). This year (and every year) it's the natal day (if that's the right word) of the UNIVAC computer, Donald Trump, and the Gong Show. (Chase's Calendar of Annual Events - a great book to dip into from time to time).
