Subject: RE: Stan Rogers Folk Festival 2nd Annual From: Will Date: 09 Mar 98 - 10:42 PM The song book is "Stan Rogers, Songs from Fogarty's Cove", published by OFC Publications, Box 4061, Station E, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The copyright is 1982, so I don't know whether the address is still valid. A library might have it or be able to get it. Its a great book, with about 40 songs and commentary by Stan. |
Subject: RE: Stan Rogers Folk Festival 2nd Annual From: Ireland O'Reilly Date: 12 Mar 98 - 12:36 PM yes, "Songs from Fogarty's Cove" is the name of the book i couldn't remember. I asked the guru, and she reminded me, too. the book is still in print, and still available in music shops here in Nova Scotia at least, and also at a few of our tourist sites. I've seen it even in New Brunswick. |

Subject: Lyrics to Stan Rogers' From: Mary Anne Mohanraj (mohanraj@mills.edu) Date: 06 Apr 98 - 03:08 PM I'm looking for lyrics to Stan Rogers's song, "White Squall", from the album, From Freshwater. Any help much appreciated. (And if you happen to have a copy of "Man with Blue Dolphin", same album, I wouldn't say no...) Thanks, Mary Anne mohanraj@mills.edu |
Subject: RE: Lyrics to Stan Rogers' From: Joe Offer Date: 06 Apr 98 - 04:24 PM Hi, Mary Anne - you will find the lyrics to "White Squall" in this thread. I think it will be hard for us to come up with a tune, but maybe we could talk Dick into including the song in the database if somebody would post a tune. There are some URLs for Stan Rogers Web sites on the other thread, and one of them might just lead you to "Man with Blue Dolphin." -Joe Offer- |
