Ladies and Gennelmen,

For your delight and delicitation .. may I introduce new member Chouxfleur, He's decided to be regular (something to do with All Bran working apparently).

Choux .. (coaxing out gently here) come out and introduce yourself!! (They don't bite .. on the contrary!) (Well, not all of them **G**)

and folks, remember the subtle drive in the past few days to get some more pics and photos up on the members profiles section.

Hi folks and thanks for the welcome.
It's only cos Hille rang me to tell me of this thread that I've looked at it. I'm a bit busy right now to give you the 'low down' on myself but I shall get right back in the next day or two and you can learn all (well...a bit) about moi.

OR, a Ralph McTell fan ?

Snogs: not only is Choux a fan (who manages to get on the guest list for Ralph's last concert at QEH) but, Ralph himself spotted one of Choux's guitars in a certain workshop and decided to order one just like it!!

Plus, I think he (Choux) does a fabulous version (far better I'm afraid!) of Girl from the Hiring Fair .. ooh .. stop it .. I go all tingly!

Dear Hille,

I saw your new photo and I think I'm in love....!

Only, kidding....herself wouldn't stand for anything like that!

Hope the Worthing Club is still going strong and I hope you did give Lee Collinson a kick up the bum from me! And tell him if he doesn't get in touch soon I won't give him any more tunes!

And welcome to the Madhouse Chouxfleur....funnily enough strange girls I do not know sometimes call me "Mon petit choux" here in Belgium when I am in certain parts of the city gigging....

All the best,

Richard (moo)

Hello Moo :0

Only four hours of airbrushing before I sent it in LOL ! The Worthing club is going great guns! Subject to Anarchist sitter (and last time I came home he'd sampled the special cheese in the fridge and left his dentures in it .. sigh!) I shall see Lee on Tuesday at the Harbour sessions and deliver that kick

(his poor wife probably knows that feeling as they are expecting TWINS!)

Choux! Get your a**e in here :0
All the buried vests

Hi all
Someone asked me about myself....well here goes
Born in Hove sometime in 1950, just under 6 feet tall, medium build, specs, follicly challenged (bald!!!), occupation for last 20 years photographer. Started playing guitar at around 15, got hooked on acoustics. began going to Stanford Arms Folk Club in 1969 (Miles Wootton and Spud Taylor (sorry Allan Taylor) were residents. I became a resident in 1977. Stopped playing in mid 80's, came back to it in early 90's....didnt like what was going on in the clubs then so, with a pal, started The Harbour Sessions Club in 2000. had carpal Tunnel in both wrists for last 4 months so playing on hold again (bugger!). But all being well having operation on both hands in a couple of weeks , so hopefully I'll get back to my first love, playing my guitars.
Hobbies...my guitars. My best pal is Miles Wootton(who I know many of you know). We spend hours talking everything and nothing, and putting the world to right.
If anyone is interested theres a picture of me on the home page of our web site www.harboursessions.co.uk.
Well, this is brief cos I've gotta go and open up the 'shop' now...busy day.
See y'all soon
Oh, and the handle....well I used to sing with a guy called Tim Broadbent (He moved to France to open a restaurant years ago) and he used to call me chouxfleur cos my name is Collyer....caulifower...chouxfleur...
There
All the best

Thanks for filling us in, Chou. (I kinda thought it was "cauliflower" but I didn't have my Dictionnaire Fran쳌ais handy, and Babelfish was totally useless on this one.)

When I was last in Paris a cauliflower was "chou-fleur" and "choux-fleurs" was the plural, cauliflowers.

Welcome to a world of nitpicking pedantry.
