My sweet Lord but this molloch cult bruhahah sounds awful "paganist" to me. Tell me this guest actually believes that any of this has any genuine meaning whatsoever.
Meanwhile this GUEST hasn't even gotten warmed up yet about the Yale club that Papa Bush ,and grandpappa Prescott Bush , were indoctrinated into ; namely "The Skulls". ( spooky music ).

Man, you blow whatever credability you "believe" you hold like a wet bar of soap when you quote this kind of "internet" bildgewater. Whatever happened to healthy skepticism and reason in-place of runnig all half-cocked over some the usual suspects of '"the conspiracy theories".

Yet you utterly fail to site the fact that saddam sees himself as the inheritor of King Nebekunezzar of Babylon abd has used Iraq's public treasure to rebuild a Babylonian temple. even PBS' "Frontline" and National Geographic have reported about that.
Why is this GUEST so "selective" , some would say sloppy, in his Von Helsing's quest for sniffing cultish behavior of national leaders and going all Henny Penny about the sky falling.

I thought the watch word was don't believe eveything you read in the press...yet you quote a conspiracy theory website wihtout bothering to cross-reference . I guess you also belive it wasn't David Koresh who lit the holacaust at Waco , but Janet Reno.

Yeah ,there's plenty of "videos" , endorsed & promoted by Jerry Fallwell ,proving that bullshit as well.

Get real will you please

Actually, the name of the Harvard group is "Skull and Bones" and it is a very exclusive dining club.
At least that's what they claim to be. Naturally, with so many wealthy and influential members and fromer members, it has considerable political clout of the "Old Boy" variety but then so do most college fraternities.

Yes, Saddam is indeed engaged in some bizarre stuff of his own. The reason GUEST is not concentrating on that is because Saddam does not command the destructive power that George Bush does. Saddam is a bit player. Saddam is "bad guy" of the year, soon to be replaced by another token face, I'm sure. Does one worry about a chattering squirrel in the back 40 (Saddam) when there is a berserk elephant (Bush & corporate America) loose in the pantry? :-)

This is so obvious...why should I really have to state it? Or...do you actually think Saddam is a threat to America????? Hell, he can't even control the air over 3/4 of his own country, and he lost over 100,000 men in the last go-round while killing...um...was it 10 or 15 guys...or was that "friendly fire" that got them?

To put it another way: What should one have given maximum concern to in 1939...

The undemocratic and bellicose ways of the government of Poland? Or the enormously greater peril posed to the whole world by Nazi Germany? The latter, obviously.

If you're an Iraqui, you have reason to be concerned about Saddam. If you're an American, you have reason to be concerned about George Bush.

If you are living on earth, you have reason to be concerned about George W. Bsuh.

I said this on another thread, but it's gonna be real interesting to see what some of our members will say if they turn out to be wrong.
Me? I'll admit it! Hell, I've been wrong before. It won't be a new experience.
But I wonder what the rest of you will say.

Actually , if you vheck your facts, Bush attended Yale and I only used the shorthand title for Yale's "Skull & Bones" society from the conspiracy movie "The Skulls" out of wanton sarcasm.

;-)

Actually no , but I did hold back on publishing this commentary
until I had a good title. I just wanted to cap the direction of that thread as it was starting to grow like kudzu and I felt a counter-title would be a more expedient way to let the air out of this potential Thanksgiving Day balloon of a thread subject.

Just stealing some thunder from one who was playing with it a bit too much over something he knew precious little about save what he "beleives'" is intenet as gospel.

Puh-lease.

If I'm wrong, troll, I'll say "Hallelujah! Now I can get back to life as usual, and there will be an uninterrupted flow of new and interesting model kits coming from Japan, and everthing is hunky-dory. Awright!!!"

I thought Reagan was going to get us all blown up back in the 80's too, but Gorbachev pulled off some unexpected moves in Russia and forestalled that one, thus giving me another, oh, 15 to 18 years of happy model-building and songwriting.

Let's hope it works out that way again.

Harvard, Yale, Eh! There's a difference? Never did pay too much attention to those Yankee rich-boy schools. No good football teams and no sense of humor and... Drat! Yer right. It's Yale.

Bilgewater. Excellent word. I'd forgotten that one.

I don't think you folks could take the really dark and spooky stuff. I posted a book report over a year ago as I read a book called 'The Franklin Coverup'.

State Senator John DeCamp from Nebraska wrote it. Rescued 3,000 children from certain death on his way out of Viet Nam. I can't even conceive of such...heart. Impeccable credentials, and the story he tells in his book is...nah...y'all couldn't deal with it. If you can't acknowledge the fact that the Bushes go to a place where a 40-foot owl is worshipped and take part in the sacrificial ceremony, you'd NEVER believe what DeCamp uncovered. It's as dark as it gets. Heysoos...I'm getting ill just recalling it. Forget about it.

If by "take it" you mean "get taken in by it" than you're right. Did you know that "gullible" is not in the dictionary? Really. Said so in the National Enquirer.

Yeah, and a few weeks back the "New of the World" reported that Saddam Hussein has a submarine in Lake Michigan! Worse, I've discovered that other "Owl Worshippers" in that California Grove include such idolators as Mark Twain (who was so secret he didn't even write under his real name), Bret Harte, Jack London, and Ambrose Bierce (who wrote, it should be noted, a work called "The *Devil's* Dictionary".

They're everywhere! Who knows what "Kiwanis" means? Why do they worship "The Moose"? What REALLY goes on in those "Knights of Columbus" Halls? And let's not forget the "International Order of Odd Fellows" -- why, they even come right out and say What They Are in their name!

Sung to the tune of "Officer Krupky" from "West Side Story":

Dear kindly Joe McCarthy,
Ya gotta understand
It's our associations
That gets us out of hand!
Our fathers all were frat boys,
Our mothers Eastern Star....

Saddam may not be a danger to us as much as he could be a danger to some of the countries around him. Not to mention the people in his own country - Amnesty International has several reports of torture on his behalf. Now, whether those things are all true or not, I have no idea. If they are, then he is not a very nice person.

I wasn't being humorous, Mary. I was being bitterly sarcastic about the Empire that starves and kills hundreds of thousands of 3rd World people so that corporations can get richer, and then has an emotional media binge when five or ten of its own come home in body bags. Heroes, they were! Yes! Heroes every one. Uh-huh. Just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time like most casualties of war, and the Empire killed them too.

Don't forget to shop at MalWart this weekend.

I didn't really think you started it for that reason, Taliesn. I just posted that for a bit of a larf. (But not at your expense... just being playful with you.)
