Subject: Lyr Req: Risque St Pat's song From: michaelr Date: 14 Mar 03 - 10:11 PM CAUTION -- some may find this offensive. Today I heard a song on the radio that was funny in a crude kind of way. It began with the singer's claim that "this song is very old, and has been passed down from generation to generation, to the young men coming of age." It turned out to be an admonishment, sung in a goofy Irish accent, not to try to make love to one's woman at that special time of the month. Some fragments I recall: don't try to sample the fruit of her loins all it'll taste like is old rusty coins -- and ...don't be a fool you'll just wind up with a bloody oul' tool -- and praise to St Patrick, bless the shamrock thank the good lord you don't bleed from yer cock -- with the chorus going something like: ...roll out of bed, and go down to the oul' pub instead Any clues? Cheers, Michael |
