Subject: 'Monochrome' by Yann Tiersen From: GUEST,jschiefner@web.de Date: 09 Nov 04 - 05:45 AM Hello, we are at present working on an acoustic version of Yann Tiersen's "Monochrome" with our our irish/celtic folk band. I would be grateful for hints about the background of that song. We also found the allocation of syllables on the melody quite amazing ( a lot of unstressed syllables on accentuated notes) and wonder, was this done on purpose or did he as a non-native speaker simply neglect this consideration?
