The Welsh recording by Siwsann George has a hurdy gurdy accompaniment. A year ago, a friend was looking for a hurdy gurdy to buy, and I found numerous interesting websites regarding the instrument and it's makers and players. This one in Michigan the the most inexpensive plan I have seen. alice

I should mention that it is not just a site with plans for a hurdy gurdy .... it includes other home made instrument instructions, and tidbits such as smallpipe reeds made from yogurt cups, making changes to a tinwhistle, converting and making other instruments....
