well!!!..What a nice surprise! I have been out "in the woods" all weekend, with glorious Spring weather, singing & cavorting with folkies (food catered by Debbie McClatchy!)...I had various B-Day songs sung at me all day yesterday.

As I told everyone, it was a perfect day tpo turn 39, among a bunch of friends!

So..thank all the rest of my friends very much for this semi-silly, but very pleasant batch of greetings!

and, hmmmmm...I don't believe I have ever heard piffle used as a noun before. It is traditionally only an exclamatory...but trust an Amish mustache connoisseur from Ohio to alter the very structure of grammar! Even Shambles got the deeper import of the concept...and immediately adapted it and doubled it! (Them Reg boys been explaining stuff to you again?)

Well now. You've up and done it this time, Mr. Bill. Gone and cotched another year, have you now? Don't think you can fool us. We counted each of those candles you flushed and we know EXACTLY how many there were. Smart to flush them, though, before they set the neighborhood on fire. Good thing you didn't try to flush the wrapping paper on all those presents or we'd have come after you for sure and for certain!

You just keep on living your life, and saying sensible things, and behaving in thoughtful ways, and hanging out with all those folkie types and living with that subversive female....that's right...you just keep it up...year, after year, after year.
