Subject: BS: Where's Ed? From: Morticia Date: 21 May 06 - 03:07 PM Anyone spotted Ed anywhere? Could it be that Will has done him in and buried him at Home Farm? |

Subject: RE: BS: Where's Ed? From: greg stephens Date: 22 May 06 - 05:25 AM I'm afraid the Archers has been captured by a bizarre team from the Department of Emotional Literacy and Soap Studies at the University of Dudley. Hence the rather ridiculous story lines that are currently being broadcast, which bear no relation to what is actually happening in Ambridge: where things are actually chugging on fine. Ed is quietly working for Oliver, having the occasional pint with Jazzer. Alistair is carrying on being a boring vet, and Matt Crwaford, of course, does not exist, he is a figment of the Story Book Villains Editor's imagination. |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Ed? From: Michael Date: 22 May 06 - 05:53 AM Slightly off topic: Shula's acceptance of Alistair's confession and associated debt 'it's OUR problem now etc' seems to me to be really out of character. Mike |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Ed? From: John MacKenzie Date: 22 May 06 - 09:08 AM I think he's staying with Snatch Foster. As for Alistair, yet another wimpy Ambridge male character, he was stitched up by Matt and Chalky, you mark my words we haven't heard the end of it! Giok |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Ed? From: greg stephens Date: 22 May 06 - 09:48 AM Ed will be be found naked and dead in the Borchester Museum, with strange coded scrawlings written in his own blood around him on the floor. These coded directions, when the code is cracked, lead the investigators to the giant painting of "Leda and the Swan"by Alfred Penney-Hasset, the prominent Borsetshire Victorian artist. The picture depicts an unclothed young lady of ample proportions, with the more intimate portions of her anatomy partially concealed by the wingtips and feet of a large white bird.
