Possibly so but If Saddam had heeded the UN resoultions would Hassan be alive today?

If The UN was not corrupted by the Oil For Food program would Hassan be alive today?

There are thousand of things in the chain of events that would have spared her life including a swifter end to the war if the anti-war protesters were not giving the terrorists the idea that they can win using the anti-war sentiment stirred up by killing Hassan.

Would people still be having their tounges cut out, tortured in many ways and entire familys murdered If the coalition had not invaded Iraq?

The answer to that is definately yes.
