copied from recent posts on help.mudcat.org - the first is from Chris Maltby, the translation from Jon. And I don't understand any of it, tho Jon's plain English translation at least means something. I just don't know why it is so. sandra ............................ Both Sandra-in-Sydney and I reckon Mudcat is down. I can traceroute to the server but no-one is talking on port 80. ................... Sandra, 80 is the standard HTTP (what you use for web browsing) port. You could translate what he said as "the computer itself is running but the web server on it isn't". .....................................
