Even thought I am a great Dylan fan, I can admit that he has written his fair share of dreck. Knocking On Heavens Door was written for a movie soundtrack. Many times a song is written for a specific reason so it was a good song for that movie or whatever but a crummy song on the radio. Does any of this make sense to anyone or am I babbling again?
