I love concerts and have been to many fantastic ones and will continue to do so. I'm not particularly interested in folk clubs... but I love a decent singaround. I can't imagine anything much better than a bunch of people who love this music sitting in the side room of a pub and belting it out. It's not about talent or technical skill or star quality or any of the other bullshit but rather about sheer enthusiasm and something raw and untamed and almost feral. You can't fake that. Having said that, I've just spent the evening in the Beech in Chorlton, which is a bit like all your christmases coming at once... Cheers Nigel
