OK Peace, I'll take you at your word. So why should we be appalled at McCain lying, but not at Obama doing the same damn thing? Why the righteous indignation when McCain lies and "shifts positions" (nice sanitized euphemism I got from the NYT story), but when Obama does it, it's perfectly fine because it is what he has to do to get elected?
