And BTW, Jack the Sailor, this betrayal by Obama isn't targeted to people like you who will support Obama no matter what. This flip is pandering demagoguery aimed squarely at right wing voters and centrist voters, who believe that offshore drilling and gas prices are linked. Those are the gullible "buy anything from the guy I'd like to have a beer with and makes me feel safe" voters who, incidentally, elected Bush in 2004.
