Anyone who's managed to read through this thread this far - "the horror, the horror" - but who has never seen or read a copy of fRoots magazine might care to take a look at the latest edition, here: fRoots - June 2009 - No 312 and compare the content they will find therein with the content as portrayed by some of the posted comments here. A big 'thank you' to Ian for producing Southern Rag, Folk Roots, and fRoots throughout the last thirty (plus) years.
