Lighter pm In reference to your '04 post about soldiers being charged by the "Y" for edibles. Some years ago had a VA patient who had served in the Spanish-American War, Boxer Rebellion, and WWI. In 1919, when he was in Russia with the Siberian Expeditionary Force he told me bitterly that the Red Cross charged them for coffee and doughnuts. A little off the subject, but I thought interesting.
