Well here goes. 1. I grew up Catholic in N.Ireland but attended a Protestant school for two years. 2. While at that school, one Jeffrey Donaldson organized student rallies to have the Catholic students (all 11 of us) removed. 3. I won a short story contest run by the Belfast Telegraph when I was 8. 4. I once shared an ice-cream with Phil Lynott. Outside the Europa Hotel in Belfast. 5. I played with a band that one New Faces 6 times in a row. 6. I arrived in Canada with a 50 pence piece in my pocket. 7. I spent my first Christmas in Canada in the Whitespot Restaurant on 12 street in New Westminster, with a crazy homeless guy and discussed old movies. 8. The guys from Spirit of the West used to watch me play at the Irish Centre on Prior street in Vancouver. John Mann told me I had a great set of lungs, I marvelled at his x-ray vision. 9. I have never been unfaithful to my wife of 17 years. 10. I have eaten chip butties with mashed bananas. (its a long story)
