Just experimenting.... ALT + 1 thru 20 gave me these...

I've actually used ALT + 3 digit numbers for other characters and accented letters...
ALT 155 = ¢
ALT 156 = £
ALT 171 = ½
ALT 130 = é (also ALT 1410 = é)

This is fun!
but what do I know, computerphobic as I am. LOL

These "puzzles" are quite interesting...it took me a while to figure out what you all were doing. Might get brave and give a guess sometime.

If you use Windows, go to Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Character Map.

That will give you the Alt codes for any of the extended character set for the font in question.

If you use microsoft Word, there is an 'Insert' to click on, which then lets you click on 'Symbol', and lots of letters appear with lots of different accents already on them as well as Greek and Russian letters. when you have composed your message using these you can paste it into the message for posting on mudcat. There may be an easier way, but that's the one I've discovered.
