Subject: RE: Tim Hardin From: PoppaGator Date: 13 Feb 08 - 02:16 PM I owned his first album and loved his music. "Misty Roses" has been part of my repertoire for years. There are folks hereabouts, of course, who would not consider Mr. Hardin's work to be "folk music." Those of us who got to hear his music, of course, found our way to him only because he was part of the "folk music" scene in which we were interested. Go figure. |
Subject: Tim Hardin From: GUEST,Albert Date: 13 Feb 08 - 01:51 PM I havent heard Tim Hardin's music for a long while either on the radio or album/CD.I used to own a copy of Tim Hardin 3 which was a live album and stacked with beautiful and sad songs like Reason To Believe and Black Sheep Boy. I bought the album as a teenager in about 1968 and found it quite wonderful! Are there any other Mudcat readers out there who keen on his songs. Albert |
