There was definitely merit in my mushrooms. I think it was the truffle oil.

Snow is settling now...

Are we not even allowed to use Monty Python and the Holy Grail Frenchman insults?

:D

Good day to you Hamish, my fine fellow and sometime partner-in-crime in the musical enlightenment of the Good Burghers of The Backwoods. Please accept my compliments and thanks for your graciousness in opening this thread, and my sincere wishes that it continues in its current seemly fashion.

Mayhap we shall grace the stage (or even coffe-shop floor!) together once again in the future? Until the, I bid you farewell my friend.

BWM

'Merit' is surely in the eye of the beholder, and to imply that merit is absent from this interface of pleasantries might, by some scallywags, be perceived as a ploy to plant the seeds of that very disharmony which so befouls other facets of the glistening Mudcat diamond.

Who among such kindly, well mannered folks, would volunteer to add some small effort to these posts showing actual merit, substance, factual analysis or other such troublesome efforts?

Feliciations good folks -

May I most respectfully enquire as to whether you have tastefully dissected the outermost layer of the loaf from your sandwiches CS?

I'm reviewing the new Imagined Village CD and eating mushrooms on toast. It's snowing - I may have to light a fire in a minute. It's all rather lovely. Hello, nice people!

Good day to all friendly gentlefolk who visit this conversational thread. Here in Maine the sky is blue and the sun is bright.

I'm listening to Cindy Kallet and Gordon Bok singing "Them Stars"- lyrics from the University of Colorado archives, and set to music by the estimable Margaret MacArthur of Vermont.

Cordially,

maeve

I wish your well in your admirable endeavour. It will be educatinal to observe the extent to which this seed will germinate. I hope it would not be excessively discourteous to note that you are, for all the most commendable reasons, swimming against the prevailing tide.
