But I think a beard would suit Obama rather well - he looks a bit too boyish for a man of 46. A beard would add gravitas. Bushy but neatly trimmed.

Edwards didn't even carry North Carolina in '04 so it is very unlikely he'd be chosen as a VP... Better Attorney General...

The short list of VP's for Obama are Bill Richardson (my choice), Mark Warner or Jim Webb...

The short list of VP's if Clinton steals the nomination are Satan, Snively Whiplash and Charles Manson...

Maybe not, though. If the war were still uppermost in voters' minds that would be true, I think. The word, however, is that the economy is currently of the greatest concern. And that should mean that McCain/Rice would be weak.
