Subject: RE: BS: Popular views on Harry Lee Wigley From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 09 May 08 - 12:07 PM Harry Lee Wigley is the person after whom the high school football stadium in Pelahatchie, Mississippi is named. It is so named because he was also the founder of said stadium's most notable event, the annual Pelahatchie Goat |

Subject: RE: BS: Popular views on Harry Lee Wigley From: catspaw49 Date: 08 May 08 - 04:17 PM He's up to a little over six foot actually as that is generally as high as anyone can stack runny horseshit. Occasionally you see higher piles but that's about the average. Much like those of you on this thread! Spaw |

Subject: RE: BS: Popular views on Harry Lee Wigley From: Little Hawk Date: 08 May 08 - 12:26 PM Ah! Well, there you have it. And what is King Khandu up to these days? |

Subject: RE: BS: Popular views on Harry Lee Wigley From: Amos Date: 08 May 08 - 12:23 PM There is only one reference to him outside the Mudcat, from a genealogy list of the Chatham family: "Harry Lee Wigley b: August 27, 1930 in Carroll County, Mississippi d: June 30, 1976 in Greenwood, Mississippi " It is known only to Little Hawk, hitherto, but the fact of the matter, and the reason he is revered by Mudcatters, is that Harry was the unknown source of the rare seed that started our own King Khandu's present incarnation growing. This is a bit of a family skeleton, as Khandu's mother never informed her husband of the matter and made it a point to seduce her husband multiple times immediately following the unique nocturnal visit by Harry L. W. in order to ensure there was no suspicion. A |

Subject: RE: BS: Popular views on Harry Lee Wigley From: Little Hawk Date: 07 May 08 - 10:53 PM Well, his name has come up many times in the past on Mudcat, but not lately. It was back a few years ago that I used to hear about Harry Lee Wigley quite a bit, and he was always spoken of in a particularly reverent manner by Mudcatters, so as to suggest somone of tremendous, possibly cosmic, importance. The whole thing is rather mysterious. I'm hoping that some of the oldtimers here can shed some light on it. |
