When the P is silent you're either still in bed or pissin' on the side of the bowl.

If the P is silent, doesn't that make it a phonetic 'transoline?'

Thet sounds like something that you smear on the bedroom doorknob to stop the kids intruding on tender moments.

I used to say "The P is silent, as in 'Ladies Lavatory,'" but I'm better behaved nowadays.

It's a small trampoline, with an added s.
The p is silent, as in swimming.

Ok, John MacKenzie, I give up. What is a strampette?
Oh. A very small bag-lady, with a lisp?

Okay, I read the linked definition of a stumpet; the definition sounded like something run through a couple of successive translations in babblefish.

It's a misspelling. It should be "stumpette" -- a smaller, more petite stump. I don't know why anyone would buy one when you can cut down a little bush or tree yourself.

Reminds me of the Bold Princess Royal - "With a loud-speaking strumpet, 'whence came you?' he cried..."
