Subject: RE: Cats w/guitars UK vid and other cat animations etc From: Smedley Date: 05 Jan 10 - 01:50 PM I was unaware of Simon's Cat. I now know that my life has been without meaning. Haven't laughed so much in an age. |

I had seen the first Simon's Cat video, the Cat Man Do one. Have always loved it. I have two cats which are like that! |

I've just had a look for Elbow. Their website front page is heavily loaded, so I didn't wait for it. They have some songs on MYSPACE and I REALLY like the song I am hearing, right now, "Running to Stand Still." |

Subject: RE: BS: Who remembers cats w/guitars UK vid? From: katlaughing Date: 04 Jan 10 - 06:04 PM Oh, I LOVE Simon's Cat. I've seen them before, but not animated. Didn't know about the site, Jim, thanks! This is a perfectly fine thread to post, imo. I may change the title to reflect that. |

Subject: RE: BS: Who remembers cats w/guitars UK vid? From: Smedley Date: 04 Jan 10 - 10:02 AM It nmay (or may not!) be of interest to report that the clever man behind that website now earns huge sums making TV & online ads for big UK brands & companies - ad agencies saw his site and snapped him up. |

Subject: RE: BS: Who remembers cats w/guitars UK vid? From: katlaughing Date: 03 Jan 10 - 08:54 PM Nevermind. It finally came to me: RatherGood.com. That's not the right video, but the same kittens. I can't find the right one. Warning, some stuff on that website may be offensive to some. |

Subject: BS: Who remembers cats w/guitars UK vid? From: katlaughing Date: 03 Jan 10 - 07:41 PM we had a link, years ago, to a hilarious video of cigarette smoking hard-rock, maybe punk?, playing cats in front of a pub in the UK. The same site had many more equally fun videos, but it was my fav. I have the name on the tip of my tongue, but it won't quite come to me, so...I think it had "good, though, or show" maybe in the addy. Anyone remember it and have a link? Thanks!! |
