Subject: RE: BS: Harper gives away Canada? From: Q (Frank Staplin) Date: 28 Mar 11 - 05:04 PM Canada, the U. S. and Mexico must cooperate on borders to permit individuals and commercial shipments to have easy access for agreed-on purposes. The U.S. recently cleared the way for Mexican truckers to have access for legitimate, cleared trade; now a reciprocal agreement. Reciprocity is needed since the three countries share so much. |

Subject: RE: BS: Harper gives away Canada? From: Beer Date: 27 Mar 11 - 11:17 PM I agree Sandy, Mulroney and Cretien, Tories and Grits. Lets give the Democrats the chance to join the elite two give Canada away. BTW. We are still Canada and if we give anything away be it to our relatives to the South. |

Subject: RE: BS: Harper gives away Canada? From: Sandy Mc Lean Date: 27 Mar 11 - 10:31 PM I would never want to put forward my name in defending Harper, but it was Mulroney with his free trade deal that gave us away. Cretien was elected with a promise to tear it up. Instead he enhanced it and included Mexico. I do however fear a desire by Harper to open the border to profit driven privatized health care from the USA! I have family members who are USA citizens and so I desire a very open border to travel but Canada should and must protect its economic independence! |

Subject: RE: BS: Harper gives away Canada? From: Beer Date: 27 Mar 11 - 09:52 PM Canada hasn't been given away to anyone. It is still ours. That has been said for years and years. Harper has not given it away any more than all the other politician's in power. I also agree with "Q" in what he said. " An excellent statement by Stephen Harper, one that most Canadians will support." ad. |

Subject: BS: Harper gives away Canada? From: Lizzie Cornish 1 Date: 27 Mar 11 - 12:34 PM OK, I'm a little late on this one.....and I can't believe what I'm hearing in my ears here...... Harper & Obama I recall finding a video of Stephen Harper telling the Canadian People, just after the G20 Conference, that they were no longer in control of their financial markets, and that kinda freaked me out, but I didn't realise he'd signed up to this as well.... I have this feeling that most Canadians would be sick at heart about this... |
