Many people have been ruminating on the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey" this weekend -- noting the differences between what the film predicted and what has actually come about since the movie was made.

Not in their wildest dreams would the makers of that film ever thought that "my cookie expired" would become an intelligent cyber-statement.

Catfeet!! Welcome! I went to the Vt Ren Fest last year and it's delightful! I have been meaning to email you all year (I had the web site bookmarked but lost it in a fit of cleaning) to discuss the music side of things- that was the only aspect of the Fest that I felt could be improved. So thanks for the website info. For those who don't like to type, click here

Hello Mudcatters!

I'm so pleased to be able to finally have time to read this forum again after an absence of a year and a half! The project that has sucked all my time up has been the creation of a new event *SHAMELESS PLUG HERE* :-) The Vermont Renaissance Festival. This is a Ren-Faire that runs the first 2 weekends in June (I know, we crossover with Mystic-Sorry!), for which I am looking for performers. We are looking for buskers, street performers, stage acts, anyone who can get up and sing or play an instrument.
