Yeah, if we don't get any clues about it being a lyrics request, it just provides a nice, clean, blank canvas for the over-fertile imaginations of loopy nutters like me.

ljc, I did read it, and I think I liked it, but I can't be sure. But if I did, it's not very surprising. I can be entertained by the sound of spaghetti drying on aluminum colanders. (And flying spaghetti.)

Good going, GUEST! I had no idea the other guest was looking for song lyrics.

(And I notice the thread title was changed by someone who also didn't know it was a lyrics request.)

There's a tidal river outside the building where I work. I go outside on breaks, and today found myself listening to the eerie noises the ice made. A small bit would crack, and the echoes off the far wall sounded like a bird chirping. A bit of ice would shatter as it was hung up on a rock as the tide went out, and the pieces would fall to the ice around it with the tinkling sound of glass.

Sounds better than listening to the woodworks crack from cold creep. It's minus really f***ing cold and going lower tonight. It's even cold here in the office and I haven't touched the thermostat.

T'was ever thus, eh? So long, and thanks for all the fish.

I'm just now listening to bits of spaghetti dry on an aluminum collander. As it dries, is shrinks and makes a cracking sound as it pulls away from the collander. A moment ago, one of them pulled away from the collander with such force, a part of it broke off and whent shooting through the air.
