Joseph Pujol, aka le Petomaine, or le Petomane! There is a recent documentary film going around, 1998, by Igor Vamos(?), Canadian production, I think, pseudo documentary, style, but this guy was for real, and this was before everything on stage was miked! the Marseilles was a big hit, very staccato.

Which reminds me of a song parody I wrote, specifically for a Freudian therapist audience (pretty small market stuff) it goes -

'O, mein caca, to me you are were so wonderful...'
