"boots as heavy as lead" is probably camouflage for "balls as heavy as lead" which the fragments above don't seem to be related to. It was the first bawdy song that occured to me when I read the thread title but the story line is entirely different.

Two things come to mind:

I remember an AC/DC song about big balls on one of my nephew's records, but probably more important are songs about large boots - boots as heavy as lead. There are several rugby song variants, including substituting balls for boots.

My dad was in the service many years ago, and sang us silly songs. We are now trying to compile some of these songs, and there's one we can't seem to find. It may actually have adult content connotation, although as kids we didn't realize it - it was just funny. What we remember -

I wandered around 'til just about noon,
'til I wandered in to a big saloon.

Great big balls, bigger 'an that!
Goin' round the tables, quicker 'an scat (?)
Seen a lot folks, but they called me Jeremiah
Seen a lot of pants, but they was hangin on a wire.
