Subject: RE: BS: Sorchadottir Engaged! From: mouldy Date: 08 Aug 03 - 05:10 AM Congratulations! I too had a long engagement (6 years, due to college 120 miles from himself, and subsequent lack of money). I wish them both every happiness. My son moved out 2 years ago to live 230 miles away down in South Wales, and #1 daughter has just moved out a week ago to live with her long-term boyfriend. I was dreading the old empty nest bit, but she has so much stuff that even a week after the move, it looks like she's still living here. She has only moved about 4 miles away, so it's a gradual emptying. #2 daughter will be off to university in a year's time and then I will really feel the empty nest. Andrea |

From: catspaw49 Date: 06 Aug 03 - 06:39 AM Geeziz Sorch.......Sometimes the abbreviations throw me because I think of them with other words and so it took a minute to figure that "BF" meant Boy Friend.....I was thinking you were happy that the guy was a sodomizer....Glad I was wrong! Uh, I was wrong wasn't I? Wait a minute...Don't answer that....Let me just assume I was wrong. Congrats to all!!! Spaw |

Subject: RE: BS: Sorchadottir Engaged! From: John MacKenzie Date: 06 Aug 03 - 05:05 AM Well engagements OK; but it can lead to MARRIAGE! An old friend of mine said that being a Grandad was great, but he didn't like the idea of being married to a Grandmother. So as long as they know what it can lead to, I wish them good luck. Giok |
