It's a bit easier for Linda and myself to get to France. We just drive down the A20/M20 (which is 5 mins from where we live), turn off at the EuroTunnel "Shuttle" terminus (in under an hour) and it then takes 35 mins until we drive off at Coquelles just south of Calais.

We did this last Tuesday and now have enough wine to see us till way past Easter as well as lots of other nice goodies from the french shops and supermarkets. We also had a very pleasant meal in the old town of Boulogne, before driving back and arriving home in time to have a pint at our local pub.

Actually, Air France are doing cheap promotions from the USA to Europe at the moment so it might be worth looking at the

Look at travelocity.com as well...they compete with the others you mentioned. I've beaten the major on-line sources a couple of times working through a ticket agent, though, so that may be a possibility. I haven't had any experience with one of the "make an offer" outlets, but I'm sure someone who has will chime in.

I am going to Lyon in France at the end of January and I was wondering if anyone has any good websites for cheap tickets other than Expedia and Orbitz....Im exploring prices as much as I can.
I'd be grateful for any suggestions!
