You missed out cerulian and cyan...... the former being a common shade of "sky" blue and the other being the shade of blue in your printer.

the 20 most common colors recognized by browsers are:

Aqua; black, blue, brown, chartruese, fuschia, gray, green, lime, maroon, navy, orange, purple, red, silver, teal, violet, white and yellow.

But there are a lot more named colours you can use...according to this chart such as MEDIUMAQUAMARINE

No fear McGrath - as I said - BODY tags are forbidden in mudcat posts - so the defaults stay the defaults unless Max or Pene decides to change them. And most people won't know how to do the individual ones.

All the "unvisited" hyperlinks in a document can be made any color you wish, and all the "visited" hyperlinks can be made any (usually a different) color. The commands to define the color of every unvisited hyperlink and of every visited hyperlink are placed within the BODY tag, located near the beginning of the HTML source code document.

LINK="COLOR"|"#COLOR CODE": indicates the initial color of the "unvisited" hyperlinks in a web document (the default unvisited link color is blue).

ALINK="COLOR"|"#COLOR CODE": optional; indicates the color of a hyperlink for the moment or so after it has been "activated" (there is no default activated link color).

On rare occasions, one might wish to make a hyperlink on a page a different color than what has been designated in the BODY tag. MMario, I know it is possible to customise hyperlink colours on one's own computer, via Internet Settings, but what I was wondering out loud, was whether it was possible to post a hyperlink using HTML in some way, so that everybody else sees the link in a colour other than blue.

I am fairly certain that the answer is NO.

I've been using rickies and pickies, for blickies that are red and pink.... but I have dared do anything in PuRple or Damson.....

In future: Blue clickies are reserved for Blues Songs - please use other colours as appropriate for other Genres.
