I saw patches of grass, through patches of snow.
I saw black-caps and titmice at work at the feeder
And a Cardinal's mate on a bough of the cedar.
And a goose-down gray sky, bright patch for the sun
And for making me look I thank everyone!

I can see Arthurs Seat (Edinburgh) out the window, and the number and type of people on the top make a good guide to the weather.
