Heard a lecturer on TV today quoting his politician friend...

"There are two messages the Iraqi people need to hear from the U.S.:
1. No need to worry; the American military is not going to leave.
2. No need to worry; the American military is going to leave."

*cue audience laughter*

It does, oh it does. Just the other day I said to the folks at the Legion Hovel, "Boy, I'm losing sleep over the my criticism of the war in Iraq." And Sleepy said to me, "Me too. An' I just got back from there." So I'm glad that the Prez has said that it's okay to criticize the Iraq thing. I certainly wouldn't want the Prez to think I was unpatriotic, no sirree.

So, if you are one of those who have been losing sleep because you have criticized the war in Iraq, well--this oughta make you sleep better.
