Thanks Barbara

I bought the CD from his website ($10 - what a steal) and it should be ariving any day now. Also delighted to see it has Privateer on it - another song of his doing the rounds over here.

Thanks again for all your help.

P.

Padred, it is on that CD, as Jim says, and yes, the lyrics are in the booklet enclosed with the CD.

For anyone's interest, here are the notes to the song: 'A Larkhall ghost story. In the middle of the nineteenth century a member of the local aristocracy went out to Southern Africa to do his bit for the Empire. One of the pieces of plunder he brought back with hime was his very own dusky maiden who, according to local legend, was murdered by him soon after she arrived. Her soul is said to haunt the nearby Avon Gorge.'

To get the CD, go to his website here

And I'm doomed to walk this darkness. My soul goes sailing home.

When this white man came to us with his sparkling blue-eyed smile,
A grandee of the empire with aristocratic style,
He told us tales of foreign lands and his home across the sea,
And I remember how he stole my heart when he turned to smile at me,
And he promised all the earth to me if I....

Do his CD's have the lyrics printed?

Cheers
