Great (not) to see White Horse Folk Festival is put below the line into Bullshit probably because the organiser is a smoker! so there is no way that it can be above the line. Well rest assured that I organise it BUT DO NOT ENTER any of the venues except to set them up & clear them down. I do not see any of the artists perform, so the weekend for me is not about enjoying live folk music, it is about stacking chairs, sweeping floors, unblocking loos etc. so the non smokers can have a good time & I DO REALLY HOPE THEY DO!
So please come & swell the small crowd. I promise I will stay in the background & not spoil you weekend with a ciggie.

I can't see ANY thread about this year's White Horse Folk Festival skipy, either above or below the line.

Perhaps if you post a new thread with details of this year's event, making clear it is a folk festival, it will get positive attention?

I am absolutely sure that placing of a thread on the Mudcat is totally unrelated to the smoking habits of its poster.

(By the way, I have no idea of the smoking habits of the organisers of any of the festivals I go to. If they choose to smoke that is up to them, as long as doesn't disturb anyone else.)

There was a thread above the line it got moved below, indicating that WHFF is bullshit not Folk, perhaps I have been wasting my time for the last 32 years.

They can stick the thread where the hell they like. It doesn't change the fact that you run a superb festival, and we'll be there.

Wasting you time for the last 32 years? Nah, perhaps you're wasting you time talking about folk on this forum. Look at some of the crap that gets above the line, and think yourself luck that this thread isn't with them.

Oh, for heavens sake skipy. Either stop playing the martyr or get someone to nail you to a cross. Just look at the link above, The WHFF is ABOVE the line. If for any reason it was put below I am quite sure that Joe or his helpers did so by accident, not because you are a drug addct in denial. I have said before and I will say it again, your mental health really does worry me. get help!
