Subject: RE: BS: Happy birthday Amos From: Severn Date: 15 Sep 07 - 05:56 PM Happy ecologically sound birthday greetings to a fellow Poor Horseman Of The Apochryphal, as woven using the recycled thread you provided to make sure we don't say the same thing two years in a row. You may yet achieve the record for the longest Birthday Thread (God knows who owns it at present) if not this year, when you revive it birthday next. I somehow missed the actual day this one this year, even though I posted earlier than nescessary last year. |
Subject: RE: BS: Happy birthday Amos From: catspaw49 Date: 15 Sep 07 - 06:48 PM I think THIS ONE at 462 posts is at least in the running for "ridiculously long." Covered two years Spaw |
Subject: RE: BS: Happy birthday Amos From: Peace Date: 15 Sep 07 - 07:36 PM Keriste, I could swear it was just recently I was posting to your birthday thread. It's ridiculous how fast that year went. Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMOS! |
Subject: RE: BS: Happy birthday Amos From: kendall Date: 16 Sep 07 - 07:07 AM I'm with Joe on birthday threads, but what the hell, if I like a guy enough to allow him to play my Taylor, how can I not say Happy Birthday? My life is just one big quandry after another. Bonnie, I have been wondering what happened to you! Welcome back! I got married, so it's safe for you to return. Amos, live long, and prosper. |
Subject: RE: BS: Happy birthday Amos From: GUEST,Dani Date: 16 Sep 07 - 07:11 PM OK, I give. Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but what or whom is a BBW?! Dani |

Subject: RE: BS: Happy birthday Amos From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 12 Sep 17 - 07:48 PM I don't usually post to birthday threads, but I might make an exception for Amos. Then again, I might not. |
Subject: RE: BS: Happy birthday Amos From: Rapparee Date: 12 Sep 17 - 10:21 PM MOM remembers your birth. She said that it was, well, unpleasant for her. Apparently you weighed something like 25 lbs. and were 36 inches long. She told me to tell you Happy Birthday anyway. |
Subject: RE: BS: Happy birthday Amos From: Janie Date: 12 Sep 17 - 11:31 PM We (and he) celebrated in fine form! Even LEJ and Joe Offer showed up to celebrate. Happy Natal Anniversary, my dear and exceedingly fine friend. XO, J |
Subject: RE: BS: Happy birthday Amos From: Joe Offer Date: 13 Sep 17 - 12:02 AM I have to say, I enjoyed Amos's birthday far better than I've enjoyed most of my own. For one thing, I wasn't the one getting older.... But yes, we had a very nice day of celebrations. Happy birthday, Amos! -Joe- |
Subject: RE: BS: Happy birthday Amos From: Amos Date: 19 Sep 18 - 01:28 PM Blessings on all Mudcats near and far. I continue to plow into the shadowy Seventies with abandon. (I have forgotten the name of the band, but I have them on). My finest birthday present was a giraffe. I have never said that before nor ever will again, most likely, but this year it is true. She is welded together from old mechanical parts and she has been stationed under a tree at the front edge of the lawn to electrify local dog-walkers by sticking her sheet-metal tongue out at them. Sorry for the belated post--we've been unshpping and unbattening after the hurricane scare which didn't amount to much right here, anyway. No wishes necessary, as I am already quite airborne with all the goodwill already! |
Subject: RE: BS: Happy birthday Amos From: olddude Date: 19 Sep 18 - 01:43 PM Keep on a picking my brother for 100 more happy birthday |
Subject: RE: BS: Happy birthday Amos From: Sandra in Sydney Date: 20 Sep 18 - 06:08 AM everyone needs a giraffe on their front lawn, especially one with it's tongue poking out! |
Subject: RE: BS: Happy birthday Amos From: Donuel Date: 20 Sep 18 - 02:28 PM You love Love and life, or visa versa. Whoever we are we do the same things too. We go to school and learn to que We go to school again and get married Or... visa versa Then we have kids or pets and life gets hurried and harried and We try a million things while we keep trying love or inventions that don't work just like Thomas Edison Or... visa versa. But in the end Life brings our special medicine Or... Donuel |
