Subject: RE: Mudcat YouTube channel? From: Dave the Gnome Date: 22 Mar 24 - 03:23 AM Hi Mooh - I have upgraded my PC and no longer have video capture software. Rather than download (and relearn!) it again, can you send me a link to where the originals are? |

Sadly I only have hard copy, so I can't grep it for variations on "It was amusing the first couple of times". |

Subject: RE: Mudcat YouTube channel? From: rich-joy Date: 21 Jun 25 - 08:25 PM IMHO, it's certainly a great shame that more interest hasn't been shown in DtG's worthy project and that few people have bothered to even Comment on the content. This was a chance to put your music out there if you did not have your own YT channel (which I have, but nonetheless placed 4 on The Cat). THANK YOU Dave & Co, for all your efforts on the behalf of ALL Mudcatters!! Cheers, R-J |

I'm the guitar player in the first half, and the bass player in the second half. Both were jam situations, so no actual arrangement. |

Subject: RE: Mudcat YouTube channel? From: Dave the Gnome Date: 24 Jun 25 - 11:44 AM Thamks for resurecting this and for the kind words. It inspired to to find how to link videos that are already on YouTube and I think I cracked it with the link posted by Georgiansilver. If you go on the Mudcat channel there is now a playlist called 'Linked Videos' (as opposed to liked videos :-) ) I shall start to put more on but if anyone wants to send me any videao, please feel free. |

Subject: RE: Mudcat YouTube channel? From: pattyClink Date: 09 Jul 25 - 10:19 AM This thread and the channel indeed should get a lot more views than they do. Do yourself a favor and listen to "The Lark in the Clear Air", for one. The link to the channel was posted down thread by Joe, but here it is again: Mudcat Youtube Channel |

Subject: RE: Mudcat YouTube channel? From: Tattie Bogle Date: 09 Jul 25 - 06:50 PM For some unknown reason, this is the first time I’ve come across this innovation from 2020: probably too busy working out the mysteries of Zoom at the time. Anyway, I have now found and subscribed to the channel, and here’s one of my offerings in my real name: a popular session tune. Inisheer by Thomas Walsh |

Subject: RE: Mudcat YouTube channel? From: Dave the Gnome Date: 17 Jul 25 - 04:29 AM Latest ones linked in playlist "Linked Videos" I have not put any comments on Mudcat names but please feel free to if you like. Question for you Tattie Bogle - Am I right in thinking that a B/C melodeon can play in any key? If so, what do the left hand bass buttons do? Good to see you stepping up to the oche cujimmy :-D |

Subject: RE: Mudcat YouTube channel? From: GUEST,Blob Dillum Date: 18 Jul 25 - 12:33 PM Dave the Gnome - What are you doing? adding these to a channel? BTW, I might be interested in doing some audio recordings, maybe upload them to my google drive and then post the links here. Is there an audio thread here? That is the best I can do in the way of contributing. |
