Hi, all you animal lovers. This is pretty simple. Please tell ten friends to tell ten today! The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals.

It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "feed an animal in need" for free. It's in a purple box in the middle of the page.

This doesn't cost you a thing.

Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising.

DUH, I didn't see it until now, but there are tabs at the top of their page that ask for clicks to support:

The Hunger Site
The Breast Cancer Site
The Child Health Site
The Literacy Site
The Rainforest Site

... as well as the Animal Rescue site.


Once upon a time, for a long time, Mudcat was my home-page.

Then I learned how quickly MudCrap, when the site is having one of its periodic feuds, can bum out my whole day.

So I changed my homepage to a hockey site, something I have good feelings about. That way when I want to get to Mudcat, I have to click a bookmark and make the intention to come here, and that extra moment of conscious thought is just the slowdown I need to arrive here in good humor, not expecting Mudcat to make my day and not being disappointed when it's just as full of human beans as anywhere else in the world.

But with that leetle slowdown, Mudcat now often DOES make my day.


So now, I'm picking one of those tabs for my homepage. I can do something good, and THEN cruise on in here.

We've been using the Hunger Site and its linked fellow sites (like the animal rescue site) for years...I believe it's been mentioned here before. Risk free charitable givings.

Peace started a breast cancer thread that also led to these other sites a few weeks ago. I think it still surfaces from time to time. I've had all the sites in my favourites for quite some time now and click them every day.

Takes about 20 seconds to open all those in tabs and then click on them. I've had a link to them on my home page for some years and try to make a point of doing this every day.
