Hi Ross

Windward has had 2 very poor weeks following Fleggy's launch and it would be great if we could have a better show for Mick MCP Pearce, as he was a great supporter of not only Barton but also Windwards early days as was Rhiannon who can do a really good job as an M C

dangerous Curves are well worth coming for on the 15th

have a good week

Fab stuff Ross, keep it up!!
ps. have you ever thought of asking Joe Offer for a Barton permathread? It'd save you having to create on a month & give you 'the powers of the Editor' - tempting isn't it?

Hi JB - I want to come along and see Mick/Rhiannon - I'm putting out flyers at Barton for you - I'm in Lowestoft that weekend, so/but I am hoping to get back in time - the journey to St Albans isn't that enjoyable at the moment with the M1 being turned into a giant mud pie

Cheers Guru - I do a lot of cut/pasting so it's not too much bother - I suppose it would ease up on threads - I wonder what Joe thinks?

I went to a new venue for the Bedford folk club last week - Daley's in Kempston - it's a nice big room (no disturbance) - we started off with 5 but finished with 10 souls - Mike Blair could do with support when he moves to Wednesday this week - everybody's moved to Wednesday - doh

ALSO Ashwell weekend - 17/18/19th November - replaces Buntingford weekend of folk - see Mudcat thread

Also Banbury this month - see Mudcat thread

An(heater) - boom, boom

Reminds me of another joke

Little boy says to Dad - where did I come from?

Dad squirms, starts talking about the birds & the bees, stutters a bit, muddles about daddy giving mummy a seed to put in her belly, stops exhausted

Boy looks stunned; replies - oh, Fred across the road came from Shropshire

What do you call a lady with a frog on her head? - Lily

This reminds me of Pharmatceutical news. Sorry if I have posted this before but....

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, and of course, Ibepokin.

An 86 year old man walked into the doctors and said to the receptionist 'There's something wrong with my dick'

The Receptionist became irritated and said,
'You shouldn't come into a crowded waiting room and say things like that you could offend somebody. You should have said there was something wrong with your ear.

The man walked out, waited a few minutes, and then re-entered. The
Receptionist smiled smugly and asked, 'Yes?'?

'There's something wrong with my ear," he stated
The Receptionist nodded approvingly, knowing he had taken her advice. "And what is wrong with your ear, sir?'

'I can't pee out of it,' he replied.

I don't see much pee coming out of ears but c**p from mouths?

Is there anyone out there that can tolerate watching the news

Anniversary's of every major event in history, polls that put UK at the bottom of everything in Europe, spurious sound bites, lunatics in war zones reporting on other lunatics, sponsored weather, life & death critical exposures of sports items, celebrity sex & crime and celebrity criminals - and what someone famous said on our earlier programme

If I was a refugee, starving, on the run - being harassed by fat jolly journalists and cameramen - why don't they eat them like they did in the good old days

Oh no sorry, husband had to be towed home from work last night, car key alarm thingy not working. 70 miles at snails pace down M6 on the back of a trailer got home at midnight not amused. Just been towed to the garage to be told it will take a week needs an whole new alarm/imobiliser system - cars only 17 months old!
