Subject: RE: BS: Mouse in a bottle From: wysiwyg Date: 01 Dec 07 - 11:23 PM But they didn't explain whether the mouse has to drown or suffer some other fate.... can the free beer wait till the mouse expires of old age, then all the mousecrap can be flushed out with some stale beer? Put Shane on that one right away. ~Susan |

Subject: RE: BS: Mouse in a bottle From: Bill D Date: 02 Dec 07 - 11:55 AM Back when Pepsi & Coke came in returnable bottles, a lady come into the store where I worked with a 12oz., unopened bottle of Pepsi from the 6-pack she had just bought and held it up to the light. Yes, there was a mouse on the bottom. One can only assume it got in when the bottle was used before, and was not discovered during the automated bottle-washing process and inspection. None of us were clever enough to keep the bottle and turn it into a gold mine. (we also found stuff like rusty bolts in bottles occasionally) |

Subject: RE: BS: Mouse in a bottle From: Little Hawk Date: 02 Dec 07 - 12:03 PM Boy, talk about a nasty fate. Drowned and entombed inside a bottle of Pepsi! Yuck. |

Subject: RE: BS: Mouse in a bottle From: Rapparee Date: 02 Dec 07 - 08:41 PM I once found a starfish, a dead cat, and all sorts of things in bottles. My biology teacher wouldn't let me trade them in for free formaldehyde, though. |

Subject: RE: BS: Mouse in a bottle From: SINSULL Date: 02 Dec 07 - 10:38 PM My uncle found a dead mouse in a bottle of Pepsi - pre-law suit days. I found a huge rusty bolt in a bottle of orange pop. Also pre...The best was Uncle Rudy finding a set of dentures in a cherry pie. Also pre...Shame - I could have been an heiress. |

Subject: RE: BS: Mouse in a bottle From: Bee Date: 02 Dec 07 - 11:08 PM I found a set of upper dentures in an old stone wall once. They looked to be about as old as the wall, which would have been a good hundred years. There was a very old partial pig skeleton nearby as well. I wonder... |
