Subject: RE: BS: Quests that bother you. From: Little Hawk Date: 13 Sep 04 - 11:32 PM (Sing mucho allegre, with great and pompous gusto) To scream....the impossible scream! To sing...the unsingable song To write...the unreadable letter To err...without doing it wrong To fly...where no buzzard has flown To dance...with the grace of a moose To boldy and recklessy tighten A screw...that has never been loose! This is my Quest!!! To follow that trail!!! No matter how pointless!!! No matter how stale!!! I will fearlessly fight For the right to be wrong I will recklessly dream the impossible scheme And unflinchingly SCREAM...the unsingable song!!!!!! And the World...will be better for this! That one man had the gall to go on And reach beyond reachable madness And sing....the UNSINGABLE SONGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!! (Hit tremendous bellowing high note here to finish) (Orchestra goes totally nuts!) Damn shame Howard Dean didn't get the idea to do this one on the campaign trail... |

Subject: RE: BS: Quests that bother you. From: Dewey Date: 14 Sep 04 - 01:59 AM 1. The qwest to be close minded among people with honest thoughts and convictions. 2. The qwest to think only that which we "understand" with the 5 senses" is right and the ONLY measure of understanding. 3. The Qwest to Find Fault(in private PM's) rather than discourse in open forums. 4. The Qwest To Measure Everyone and Everybody By Our Own Opinions, Which Keep us from learning anything beyond that which we already know. 5. The Qwest To Put Someone's Elses Opinions (or approval) ahead of our own. (stifling our own creativity and self esteem) 6. There are other qwests that bother me, but I am in the qwest at present to focus on only things that bring ME benefit (whether anyone believes them, laughs at them, finds fault etc) And I intend to be fearless in this qwest despite all the laughter, criticism and tears the world can offer up. If at the end of my life's journey I find that all I beleived upon and dreamt in was wrong, I will still be able to say with honest conviction, that I approached my dreams, with complete conviction, intuitive sincerity and honest thought. Better to have lived this way than been close-minded and to never have lived at all. The above is the way children approach life and they are far more creative than adults. Dewey (who still doesn't give a Rat's Rear-end whether anyone's esle believes or doesn't bvelieve what he has to say may or may not be true), but is still trying to look for a likeminded individual to share and examine his creative conscious experiences and convictions. Obviously this is NOT the place) "To Believe That Which is True For Yourself Is True For ALL mankind. That is Genius" Emerson Goodbye folks, I'm Going to Contact the Universe AGAIN Tonight, The writings are a little repetitious because they are deep but they do move forward, slightly, as you will see. For a good laugh, or merely to make your head hurt, Check me out at http://believersguide.blogspot.com Peace TO ALL I truly feel so much better! I actually used to care what people thought of me which slowed me down from doing anything in the past, I no longer do. And it is the Greatest emanicpation and arnsenal toward my inner creativity that I could have asked for. Thanks to All for making it Possible, Dewey (the NUT NUT NUT NUT NUT!!!!!! NUT!) NUT! NUT! Subject: RE: BS: Quests that bother you. From: Teresa Date: 14 Sep 04 - 02:17 AM Heeheeheeheehee ... LH ... is that yours? I love it. :) I have to be careful of any quest, because once I get onto it, it's like a dog on a bone, and it becomes compulsive, so it'd better be a good one. :) T |

Subject: RE: BS: Quests that bother you. From: Mudlark Date: 14 Sep 04 - 03:34 AM Wonderful, LittleHawk! I'm adding it to my limited repertoire of songs containing bellows, an even smaller, but much more gratifying, group than those containing a yodel. |
