I've done the Googgle bit and found "Denise Hogan and the Bystanders". I presume that is her but I can find no link betwwn her and Finbar Furey. Nothing on the Fureys sites either.

Hi, its a singer called Denise hagan. The song can be found on her cd - tangerine moon. Im searching the internet but cant find it anywhere. Im dying to listen to it!!!

THE SPARKLE IN YOUR EYE is on Denise Hagan's (note spelling) album "The Tangerine Moon" (2004). This one cut features a duet with Finbar Furey. Apparently the song appeared on Ireland's pop charts for a while.

Here's a review from RTÉ.ie. It's not flattering.

I couldn't find any lyrics.

Frank Hennessy has played this a number of times on Celtic Heartbeat, Radio Wales. You could write Frank to ask that he play it again, and then watch his postings of playlists, or better listen to his great show. There are a number of computer programs that record streaming audio.
Finbar does a nice job on this one.

Have heard this song played a couple of times on Country Mix 106.8
http://www.countrymix.ie/. It was on one of the late night weekend shows - probably mellow monents with Stevie bolger. Think the song has really got something and am surprised that it is so hard to get.

Hi I found the song on finbar furey.com and I downloaded it for 99 cent its one of the best songs i have heard and I am going to learn it on the guitar now
